The Process Of Rustic
The process of crafting our rustic furniture begins with quality seasoned pine that is kiln dried at the factory. The kiln drying process acts to stabilize the wood in order to guard against excessive cracks and splitting, and prevents pests from reclaiming the wood without using harsh chemicals. The construction involves distressing accents derived from century old techniques to achieve an aged, weathered look.
After careful surface preparation, high quality stain, paint, and lacquer are hand applied to each piece, ensuring a consistent and lasting finish. The result is quality and durability that will withstand the test of time.
